Bio-coated paper / Coating

A material specially developed for the paper and cardboard industry (cellulose). We can supply reels of coated paper for food contact packaging or the coating to apply on paper.

It replaces plastic coatings with a water-based solution that provides exceptional biodegradation properties and is in compliance with composting standards (EN 13432 / ASTM D 6400), with a unique value of proposition feature of being completely recyclable and #plasticfree.

Similar to other materials, for hot beverages, a single-side coating is applied. For cold beverages, two-sided coating.
The coating application per side is 10 to 12 grams per m2, and its viscosity index may be adjusted on a per-demand basis.
It has a neutral pH ranging 7.2 to 7.5

Coating. An ultra-concentrated coating for machine application, which could be diluted up to 20% with water to optimize the flow rate.
Bio-coated paper. Reels of paper with single or double-sided coating. Our paper is exempt from compliance with the compost standard.
